RSL-AZ West Valley is excited to offer a fun, affordable, and developmental recreational soccer league for boys and girls in Surprise, El Mirage, and the Phoenix West Valley through our partnership with Dysart Unified School District.

Our Recreational Youth Development Soccer League is designed as an introductory soccer program for players ages 4 and up. This program is perfect for new players learning the game, as well as returning players who want to build confidence, improve their skills, make friends, and enjoy soccer in a positive team environment.

No soccer experience is required. Our goal is to give every child an organized, encouraging, and fun place to learn the game of soccer while developing teamwork, sportsmanship, coordination, and a love for the sport.

The RSL-AZ West Valley Recreational Soccer League is open to boys and girls ages 4 and up.

Players will be placed on age-appropriate teams so they can learn, grow, and compete in a fun and safe environment.

No experience is needed. This league is built for beginner and developing players.

Whether your child is playing soccer for the first time or has played before, our recreational program is a great way to learn the game, improve skills, and have fun with friends.

Teams will practice one night per week during the season.

Practices are held on weeknights in the Surprise or El Mirage area and are led by volunteer coaches using an RSL-AZ West Valley recreational soccer curriculum.

Each team receives one 1-hour practice per week during the 8-week season.

Games are played on Friday nights.

The season includes 7 Friday night games, giving players a consistent and exciting game-day experience each week.

Games will be held in Surprise or El Mirage.

The registration fee is $100 per player and includes:

• 8-week recreational soccer season
• 8 team practices
• 7 Friday night games
• RSL-AZ West Valley recreational soccer curriculum
• Volunteer coach-led team environment
• End-of-season medal or trophy for each player
• Games and practices in Surprise or El Mirage

This program is designed to be an affordable and high-energy soccer experience for families across Surprise, El Mirage, Waddell, Peoria, Glendale, and the surrounding Phoenix West Valley communities.

Yes. Volunteer coaches are a huge part of making our recreational soccer league successful.

We are looking for positive, dependable volunteer coaches who enjoy working with kids and helping players learn the game. Soccer experience is helpful, but not required. RSL-AZ West Valley provides a recreational curriculum to help guide practices and create a great experience for every team.

Team managers are also needed to help with communication and team organization throughout the season.

Volunteering is a great way to support your child, help your community, and be part of the RSL-AZ West Valley soccer family.
